The Remote Control Box is connected to the
inverter duty motor and the vector drive
controller. This box is mounted by the
mixer/disperser and provides local display
and control of the motor’s parameters. The
speed pot adjusts the speed of the motor (and
mixing shaft) as easy as adjusting the volume
of a radio. The timer pot when set at a
chosen time provides an auto shut-off
function. This is a fail safe (idiot proof)
operating system located where it is needed
without the necessity of reprogramming the
vector drive controller.
This system may be used on motors from 5
HP and up in a non explosion proof
application.

The vector drive controller (on viewer’s
right) and the remote control box (on
viewer’s left) are used together, as a system,
to control the speed of an inverter duty
electric motor.
The vector drive controller is in a NEMA 1
enclosure, while the remote control box
(usually located next to the motor) is in a
drip-tight, industrial enclosure, NEMA 12.
This system may be used on motors from 5
HP and up in a non explosion proof
application.
