The tank press/extruder is designed to deliver, discharge, empty or extrude high viscosity or paste products directly from the mixing tank into containers, cartridges, tubes or filling machines.

The tank press/extruder may be designed to discharge from bottom of mixing tank or from top of ram plate when a discharge port is so provided. The product is then piped (flexible) from top of ram plate to another container or passed through a manifold to overhead filling stations.

Heated Nozzle

As shown in the top picture, the electronic temperature control placed on the neoprene wrapper. The heating foil is in contact with the nozzle outside steel surface. The heating system is designed to keep the paste temperature in the 80 degrees F range to stimulate smooth flow of the extruding paste.

This model will continuously extrude a ribbon of paste with viscosity in excess of 1M cps 7.5” wide and 3/16” thick.

The bottom picture shows this nozzle from the mounting flange. The 7.5 “ by 3/16” precision machined extruding slit is clearly visible in the middle of the picture. This gap is fixed in dimensions. The inside of the funnel is polished smooth and flared thus limiting resistance to the extruding paste product.

Model NEH-101-3/2-ROUND

This model will extrude continuously 3 solid round rods of paste in excess of 1M cps 2” in diameter.

This picture shows the nozzle from the mounting flange. The 2” diameter precision machined extruding orifices are clearly visible in the middle of the picture. The inside of the funnel is polished smooth and flared thus limiting resistance to the extruding paste product.
